Super Taikyu is an endurance race where a variety of cars, ranging from full-fledged racing cars to familiar models based on production vehicles, run on the same course. Because cars with different speeds mix together, overtaking battles in corners and class-to-class battles unfold everywhere. The race lasts for several hours, and in addition to pit work such as refueling and tire changes, various factors like changes in weather, track conditions, and machine status combine to greatly influence the race developments. The thrill of endurance racing lies in never letting your guard down until the checkered flag.
