"Mote tai" celebrated its 25th anniversary. A new page in its quarter-century history has been opened. The 2022 "Mote tai" was held in September for the first time ever. On Saturday, September 10th, under the blue sky, the official qualifying and 3-hour endurance final were held.

This year, starting at 8 o'clock, the official qualifying for the 3-hour final race and the free practice will be held, and the official qualifying for the 7-hour endurance final race will start at 9:40. Time attacks were held in 15-minute sessions for the first rider of Group A, the first rider of Group B, the second rider of Group A, and the second rider of Group B.

In the first session of Group A, #51 Vesra Racing TEC2&YSS rider Takao Fukuda recorded a time of 2 minutes 14.677 seconds, the only rider to break into the 2 minute 14 second range, securing the top spot. In the second session of Group A, #51 Vesra Racing TEC2&YSS rider Koichi Endo marked a time of 2 minutes 14.362 seconds, taking the top spot and with a combined time of 4 minutes 29.039 seconds, securing the pole position.

"I am sincerely happy to be able to get pole position for the first time. This is also thanks to the team. As riders, I think we were able to concentrate on riding, which led to this result. However, the main race is the final, so I am going to tighten my focus and challenge," said Endo. "There are still areas that we can adjust, so if we can improve, I think the fuel efficiency will naturally improve as well. The strength of this team is that all riders can ride at the same level. In order to win this year, we will all come together as a team and challenge!" added Fukuda. Last year, we were just one step away from winning, so the desire to win this year is strong.

31 cars participated in the 3-hour endurance final race, an increase of 10 cars from last year. In the early stages of the race, #92 PRT TOPS with YSS SNIPER took the lead, followed by #64 TEAM ATSU with VESRA and #27 Auto Shop Honma and Friends, forming a top group of three. In fourth place was #9 MUSHMANS Racing Team. The battle for the lead was between #27 Auto Shop Honma and Friends, who began to fall behind, and a one-on-one between #92 PRT TOPS with YSS SNIPER and #64 TEAM ATSU with VESRA, with #64 TEAM ATSU with VESRA taking the lead.

Top 2 riders pitted after 45 minutes. #92 PRT TOPS with YSS SNIPER refueled, while #64 TEAM ATSU with VESRA only changed riders and maintained their lead. As the race reached its halfway point, #64 TEAM ATSU with VESRA pitted for their first refueling.

Afterwards, [#9 MUSHMANS Racing Team] takes the lead, but [#31 BALZ STORE MOTORCYCLE 3H-B] is closing in behind. With that momentum, [#31 BALZ STORE MOTORCYCLE 3H-B] takes the lead, but [#9 MUSHMANS Racing Team] fights back and extends their lead.

In the end, the #9 MUSHMANS Racing Team completed 72 laps with a 2-lap lead and crossed the finish line in first place. They put on a magnificent performance to win the 3-hour endurance race.
"I was happy to have gotten pole position in qualifying, but when the race started, everyone was fast. However, I was able to close the gap during my second stint, which was good. In the end, we were able to win, but at first, I was nervous. We had all been preparing diligently together. Our team owner, Mr. Fujita, used to race in the past, so I think it's the result of all the advice we received and the hard work we put in," said player Hiroaki Hiroi.
