【#103 NMC×ATJ -Racing】takes pole position! Aiming for a 1-2 finish!!
Saturday's final race was won by [#117 PEAKY1 LEVEL5] in a huge comeback victory!!The 21st "Mote Endurance" has finally begun. On August 25th (Sat), the official qualifying started at 8am, with 3 groups divided into A, B, and C, and the combined times of the first and second riders were contested. The Twin Ring Motegi, which had become sunny since the morning, also saw a rise in temperature. It was a time attack in the harsh lingering summer heat.
The A group, running in the WT class and Brave class, showed speed as expected. In the first rider session, Rider Masaki Sasaki of 【#35 GO&FUN TeamKYOEI C Team】 set a top time of 2 minutes 15.135 seconds, followed closely by Rider Katsuya Nagano of 【#12 CLUB1.2FK Kushitani Kawaguchi Store】 with 2 minutes 15.182 seconds in second place, and Rider Satoshi Igarashi of 【#11 BLUE EYES & DREAM Kashiwa】 with 2 minutes 15.487 seconds in third place. In the following second rider session, Rider Kazuki Tomita of 【#103 NMC×ATJ -Racing】 set a Course Record of 2 minutes 14.222 seconds! The combined time was 4 minutes 32.168 seconds, earning them pole position. "For machine development, I, the first rider (Nobumichi Tomita), took charge of the setup based on experience, and had the sensitive rider Kazuki Tomita ride to determine the direction. I also wanted to get into the 2 minutes 15 seconds range, but I couldn’t improve the time as much as I hoped. I’m glad we got pole position. Actually, the favorite is #30, who has excellent overall balance, so we want to aim for a 1-2 finish as a team," said Nobumichi Tomita. Naohiro Nakatsuhara, currently competing in the All Japan JSB1000 class, is the third rider, and he recorded a 2 minutes 15 seconds lap during free practice. The 【#30 ATJ-Racing】 team, favored by Tomita, set the top time in the WS class and will start from the 14th grid. Will they achieve their first victory in 5 years since 2013!?
In second place is #12 CLUB1.2FK Kushitani Kawaguchi store with Brave class top, in third place is #11 BLUE EYES & DREAM Kashiwa, in fourth place is #35 GO&FUN TeamKYOEI C team, in fifth place is #1 YSS Racing × MGR. Racing Service, in sixth place is #32 TEAM SANMEI, in seventh place is #33 GO&FUN TeamKYOEI B team, in eighth place is #14 DOGFIGHTRACING, in ninth place is #21 NR Project & Myumega, and in tenth place is #6 Pew Pew Electric. In terms of speed, this is the ranking, but speed alone cannot win in "Mote tai". What kind of drama awaits in the 21st "Mote tai"?
