What is JOY TAI?
"JOY TAI" is a 4 wheels endurance race that is easy for racing beginners to participate in!
"JOY TAI" is a JAF-approved 4 wheels endurance race using box cars, held under the unique rules of Mobility Resort Motegi. It features a wide variety of eligible vehicles, making the entry point very accessible. Additionally, there is a requirement to use regular tires, and vehicles that stop on the course are retrieved by officials※ and can rejoin the race afterward, making it a race where even beginners can participate with peace of mind. Every year, many first-time drivers join, and each team enjoys the event together with their families and friends. Please actively participate in the once-a-year box car race festival, the "Motegi Enjoy Endurance Race 'JOY TAI'."

"JOY TAI" is participated by various groups such as school or company friends, family, and car enthusiasts. Please enjoy the JAF certified authentic race with your fun companions.
Meet the eligibility requirements!
■Eligibility
Must possess a valid 2026 JAF participant permit.
*This does not apply if the driver also serves as a participant.
■Driver's License
Please check in advance as it is necessary to meet both of the above conditions.
- 1. Must possess a valid driver's license and hold a JAF domestic driving competition permit of A or higher.
- 2. Must meet the driving experience requirements set by the organizer in driving sessions or the special sports driving reserved for participants held during the relevant week.

From July 4, 2026 (Sat) to July 19, 2026 (Sun) is the entry acceptance period.
*Registration will close once the first 75 entries (capacity) are reached.
*Drivers who are not MCoM/SMSC members will be charged a separate provisional mutual aid fee.
What is an MCoM Member?
MCoM is a membership system established for those who use the courses at Mobility Resort Motegi.
What is an SMSC member?
SMSC (Suzuka Motorsports Club) is a membership program established for those who wish to use the courses at Suzuka Circuit.
Let's participate in the driving event!
If you do not have experience participating in JAF-sanctioned races, you need to record a lap time within 3 minutes at the driving event. Please be sure to join us.
Let's confirm the registered information with the acceptance letter!
We will send the acceptance letter about two weeks before the event, so please check that there are no discrepancies in the details.
Also, important announcements regarding the event may be enclosed, so the representative should check all the documents.
Race week is finally here! Let's head to the venue fully prepared!
First, please check the acceptance letter to ensure there are no errors. Then, bring items necessary for registration such as your license and seal, as well as tools needed for vehicle maintenance. Please be careful not to forget items often overlooked, such as rain gear and stopwatches used by the pit crew, and goggles for refueling.
Also, we recommend completing registration and vehicle inspection on Friday so that you can recover in case you fail the vehicle inspection.
Final Race!
After completing registration and vehicle inspection, and attending the briefing on the course, the 7-hour endurance race will finally begin.
We hope you enjoy the race with your friends and family, aiming to complete it.
Conditions for Participation

Participants must possess a valid 2026 JAF participant permit.
However, this does not apply if the driver also serves as the participant.

All drivers must hold a valid driver's license and possess a JAF domestic competition license of grade A or higher.

All registered drivers must meet at least one of the following conditions by August 21, 2026 (Fri).
- (1) Submit a document proving that you have participated in a JAF sanctioned race and have competed in the final race (including consolation). (Copy of official results is acceptable.)
- (2) Record a measured result of having driven a lap time within 3 minutes 00 seconds during a driving event or a special sports driving session exclusively for participants held in the relevant week. (The record shall be based on the results measured by Mobility Resort Motegi.)
※The event organizing committee may change the above time depending on road conditions such as rain. - (3) Drivers who have no experience participating in the Motegi Enjoy Endurance Race are strongly encouraged to attend the training sessions held during driving events or on the special Sports Driving Reservation days exclusively for participants in the relevant week.
- (4) Drivers holding licenses issued by overseas ASNs must possess a license equivalent to JAF’s domestic competition license grade A or higher.
Also, present documents such as the participation certificate issued by the relevant ASN during the document inspection.
What kind of vehicles can participate?
The 2026 season will be held in the following 11 classes.
Please check the applicable class based on the vehicle's engine displacement and the vehicles eligible to participate.
In addition, please refer to the "JOY TAI" special rules, Chapter 6, for regulations on participating vehicles.
