Motegi JOY TAI Challenge
The decision to hold the event in 2027 will be considered based on the number of participants in 2026.
A new "JOY TAI" begins using numbered vehicles!
At Mobility Resort Motegi, we have held the 7-hour endurance race "Motegi Enjoy Endurance Race 'JOY TAI'" and the 120-minute endurance race "Motegi Enjoy Mini Endurance Race 'Mini JOY TAI'" as 4-wheel participatory endurance race events for everyone to enjoy. In 2023, we will further enhance this participatory endurance race by newly hosting the 3-hour endurance race "Motegi JOY TAI Challenge" using numbered registered vehicles (vehicles with automobile registration number plates)!
For the regulations of participating vehicles, a wide range of vehicle types can participate, mainly equipped with 6-point roll cages or 4-point or more safety belts, based on the speed SA vehicles and speed B vehicles specified in the JAF domestic competition vehicle regulations. It is also possible to participate using some existing numbered one-make vehicles.
Eligibility for participation is limited to those who hold a JAF domestic driver's license of Class A or above, just like the original "JOY TAI", and up to 3 people can participate. The participating vehicles can also be modified to a more accessible level than racing cars, and the race time of 3 hours makes it a step-up race for endurance beginners and those aiming to participate in "JOY TAI", allowing you to enjoy a "casual", "easy", and "exciting" endurance race with your friends and companions.
* The waiting area during the event will be the 2nd paddock (outdoor). (Please bring tents, etc. as a team)
* Only during the race (while driving), the area in front of the pit will be assigned and used as the designated maintenance area.
