Tetsuya Yamano Handling Club

It is very important to know the limits of your own car.
A professional driver drives the car and personally experiences its limits,
and using that driving as a model is a shortcut to improvement. However, such opportunities are rare.
At the Yamano Tetsuya Handling Club, professional racing driver Yamano will ride along with customers to help improve everyone’s driving skills.

If you want to start Sports Driving but are scared to drive on the course right away...
This is a school program for beginners like you.

Overview

Ride Along

1. Ride-Along Driving

Professional driver Yamano will drive your car to bring out its limits. After the drive, using Yamano’s driving as a model will help improve your driving skills.

Reverse Ride Along

2. Reverse Ride-Along Driving

* Handling Club Plus only
Yamano will evaluate your driving from the passenger seat and provide detailed advice. You can apply this to your subsequent driving to further improve your driving skills.

Communication Time

3. Communication Time

In the afternoon, we have a communication time with driver Yamano. You can ask about not only driving techniques but also car customization, maintenance, and racing gear.

South Course

4. South Course

The South Course is a course marked with white lines in a large parking lot, with a very wide "safe area." It is relatively safe even if you overrun or spin. Also, starts are done one car at a time with intervals, so you can drive at your own pace, allowing beginners to drive without rushing. You can make many mistakes and learn a lot.

Interval

5. Interval

Participants are divided into 2 to 3 groups and take turns driving. There is an interval after driving, so even those who don’t want to overwork their car or lack confidence in their stamina can participate comfortably.

Comments from the Advisor

The Tetsuya Yamano Handling Club is positioned as the "shortest course to improve driving skills." It involves repeated practice actively experiencing full braking, understeer, and oversteer, which cannot be experienced in everyday driving. During the driving sessions, you can always experience a ride-along driven by Tetsuya Yamano.
In the Tetsuya Yamano Handling Club Plus, in addition to 1.5 times the driving time, you can also choose the “reverse riding” where Tetsuya Yamano gives advice from the passenger seat. We hope you will improve your basic driving techniques and become a skilled driver who can perform well from circuits around the world to the streets.
