RIDING CLUB Riding Club (Track Day)

The Riding Club is a driving event hosted by Mobility Resort Motegi, limited to numbered motorcycles.
It is themed around "riding comfortably," "safely," and "enjoyably."
You can enjoy three sessions of 20 minutes each.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience,
we will hold a "safety briefing before riding" and a "riding seminar."
Additionally, before free riding, we will conduct a familiarization lead ride to consider the warming up of the Rider and
the machine.

In consideration of everyone's safety, due to low temperatures and road conditions,
there may be changes to guided driving by instructors. Thank you for your understanding.

Circuit Run

We will organize participants into 3 groups based on their vehicle type, engine displacement, and declared time, in order to minimize speed differences between participants and ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience.

Pre-Race Briefing

Following the rules and manners is essential for safely enjoying sports. As part of our safety training, our circuit advisors will explain the proper way to take the course line, rules and manners, and the meaning of the 11 official flags. They will also provide instructions on how to handle accidents if they occur.

Guided Driving

First time on the course and feeling anxious? Not sure where the record line is? Don't worry, our advisors will lead the way for customers like you until you get used to the course.

In addition,...

  • You can also measure your time by wearing an automatic measurement device transponder. The measurement results will be uploaded to a dedicated download site for participants.
  • Photos taken by photographers on the day of the event can be purchased on the photo sales site "Photoreco." It is a service that allows easy downloading on computers and smartphones.

  • In addition to general recruitment, it is possible to set exclusive slots for "manufacturers and shops."

  • Holders of a small or larger motorcycle license (minors require consent from their legal guardian).
  • Please check the details of vehicles and equipment below before applying.
  • The mandatory age for wearing "airbag-type protection" will be expanded from January 1, 2026, and it will be mandatory for those aged 30 and under and those aged 50 and over. Please note that you will not be allowed to ride if you do not wear it.

※The following vehicles are not eligible for participation.

  • Vehicles for public roads without license plates
  • The displacement at the time of manufacturer's shipment is vehicles with a displacement of 150cc or less
  • Temporary number vehicles, race-spec vehicles, scooters, Americans, etc., are not suitable for circuit driving.
  • Cannot run with slick tires or block tires.
  • Please equip your vehicle with road tires with grooves suitable for circuit driving.

Kota Nozane

Won the JSB1000 class championship in 2020, competed in the Superbike World Championship in 2021 and 2022, and participated in the Road Race World Championship Moto2 class in 2023.
From 2024, transferred from Yamaha to Honda and is currently competing in JSB1000.

Noboru Ueda

His nickname is "Nobby." In 1991, he made a striking debut by achieving pole-to-win at the Road Racing World Championship held in Suzuka.
He then competed in the 125cc class of the Road Racing World Championship for 12 years, achieving a total of 13 wins, 39 podium finishes, and 19 pole positions, maintaining a long-standing presence on the world stage.

Takaaki Nakagami

Started riding pocket bikes at age 4, made his pocket bike race debut in 1998 (at age 6) and recorded a victory.
In 2005, made a spot entry in the GP125 class of the All Japan Road Race Championship, finishing 13th in the series and receiving the MFJ Rookie of the Year award.
2012 Full participation in the Moto2™ class
2016 Achieved first victory at the Moto2™ Dutch GP.
2018 Participated in MotoGP™ with LCR Honda IDEMITSU, finishing 6th in the Final Round Valencia GP.
2020 Achieved his first pole position at the MotoGP™ Teruel GP.
2024 Retired from active racing
After retiring, he served as a development Rider and participated as a wildcard in the 2025 MotoGP™ French GP, finishing in 6th place.

RACING SCHOOL Motegi Racing School

We invite riders with achievements in World Championships and All Japan Championships as advisors,
and train them on practical riding concepts and techniques for driving on the circuit.

    The "Motegi Racing School Series," which is popular for its small group lessons, is a two-tiered upskilling program from "Racing School Beginner" to "Racing School." It allows a wide range of customers, from circuit debutants to intermediates, to enjoy motorcycle sports.

    * The "Motegi Racing School Beginner 01 (South Course only)" and "Motegi Racing School Advance," which were held until 2024, have been discontinued.
    From 2025, the "Motegi Racing School Beginner 02 (South Course / Racing Course)" will be held as "Motegi Racing School Beginner (South Course / Racing Course)."

Small group lessons for beginners to intermediate riders on the racing course hosting MotoGP™

This is a small group school where beginners to intermediate level participants train for a full day on the "Racing Course". One advisor will assist approximately 4 to 5 customers. The lessons in a small group, similar to personal training, are well received.

Eligibility

Best time on the Motegi Racing Course is 2 minutes 15 seconds or more (slower than 2 minutes 15 seconds), and the vehicle has an engine displacement of 150cc or more (*For vehicles 250cc or less, the time must be slower than 2 minutes 25 seconds).
If your time is faster than the standard time, special instructor follow-up advice may not be available.

Chief Advisor of Mobility Resort Motegi. In the 1980s, he was a privateer who stood on the podium and excelled in the 500cc class in the All Japan Championships. Currently, he serves as the director of his own team, i-factory, and his kind lessons for beginners at the circuit and in road racing are highly praised.

Sakata Kazuto Kazuto SAKATA

In 1994 and 1998, he won two series titles in the Road Racing World Championship (WGP) GP125cc class. Promoted to International Class A at the youngest age in history in 1989. Won the 1997 Road Racing World Championship GP500 Rookie of the Year. Participated in the World Championship from 1997 to 2007. In recent years, has served as a development rider for Suzuki's MotoGP™ machine and also participated in the Suzuka 8 Hours.

Started pocket bike racing influenced by her younger brother in the 5th grade of elementary school, became a first-generation student of the MFJ Road Race Academy in 2007, and won consecutive series titles in the MFJ Ladies Road Race in 2009 and 2010. From 2010, she fully participated in the All Japan Championship. In 2016, she earned a wildcard entry and competed in the Moto3 class at the MotoGP™ Grand Prix of Japan. It was the first time in 21 years that a female racer participated in a world Grand Prix.
