We visited the newly grand-opened "Lota Tent Area" at Mobility Resort Motegi early on!
At Mobility Resort Motegi, a new glamping area
called the "Lota Tent Area" opened on July 1, 2021.
This time, we will provide a detailed look at what the newly created area is like.
Just like an onion?!
What’s the new glamping tent like?
At Mobility Resort Motegi in Motegi, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, there is the Forest and Starry Sky Camping Village where you can enjoy glamping and camping.
In this area, a new glamping facility called the "Lota Tent Area" has been created. The concept is "providing the best forest time where everyone can relax." We went to take an early look inside this new glamping facility!
As soon as we stepped into the new area, a row of large round tents was lined up. Their shape is just like an onion, and the sight alone made us excited beyond words!
Each tent is spaced more than 7 meters apart from the next, ensuring a well-defined private space exclusively for guests, which is a very appealing feature. In this area, there are two types: the "PUTO Tent" and the "PUTO Tent Wide" (as of the time of the interview), and this time, we visited the PUTO Tent Wide.
As soon as I entered the tent interior, the first thing that caught my eye was the four large beds lined up! It’s great for each family member to have their own bed. Even if parents and children sleep close together, the size is more than sufficient.
The star-shaped light installed in the center is also very charming.
Removing the ceiling canopy and looking up, you’ll see that part of the tent has a semi-transparent vinyl window that brightly illuminates the inside of the tent. If the sunlight is strong, the canopy can be closed to cover it, making it convenient to adjust its use depending on the situation.
In addition, the interior is also equipped with a low table, so you can enjoy talking with your family after dinner or in the morning, playing games together, and spending fun time around the table. Also, this tent has a covered dining space where the whole family can enjoy meals together in a private setting.
I was able to visit the Lotus Tent area early on, and although it was a short time, I enjoyed the best relaxing moments while feeling the nature of Mobility Resort Motegi. I can’t wait to stay in this new glamping area!
The Lotus Tent Wide has 2 sites available, accommodating 2 to 6 people. Each tent comes with a dedicated parking space next to it, and the wide type can fit two cars, making it enjoyable not only for families but also for large groups of friends visiting together.

This new area has a kitchen building. The kitchen building provides a sufficiently spacious area, so you can wash your hands, wash the vegetables you bought, have your children help out, and use it in various ways.
Next to the kitchen building, there is a cute powder room with a light blue wall, so you can feel at ease.
This time, we introduced the Lotus Tent Wide in detail, but there are 10 regular Lotus Tent sites available, accommodating 2 to 4 people.
These also come with four beds, so even with the regular type, families can relax comfortably together.
It comes with one parking space, so you can feel at ease even if you visit by car.
The new area lined with charmingly shaped tents offers spacious interiors, promising a relaxing and leisurely time.
