I was one of the first to visit the "Lotus Tent" that opened at Mobility Resort Motegi!
Mobility Resort Motegi has opened a new glamping area, "Lotus Tent," starting July 1, 2021.
This time, we will introduce in detail what the new area looks like.

What's the new glamping tent like?
Located in Motegi, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, "Mobility Resort Motegi" has a "Forest and Starry Sky Camping Village" area where you can enjoy glamping and camping.
In this area, a new glamping facility called "Lotus Tent" has been born. The concept is "providing the best forest time where everyone can relax". We were the first to visit this new glamping facility!
As soon as you step into the new area, you will see a row of large round tents lined up. The excitement doesn't stop just from the appearance, which looks like an onion!
Each tent is separated by a distance of at least 7m from the next, making it a private space exclusively for guests. This area offers two types of tents: "Lotus Tent" and "Lotus Tent Wide". This time, we visited the Lotus Tent Wide. In front of the tent, a round light with stars drawn on it welcomes you.
As soon as I entered the tent, the first thing I noticed was the four large beds lined up! It's also great to have each family member use one. Even if you sleep together with your parents, it's a sufficient size.
The star-shaped cushions placed on the beds are also cute and make me feel happy! The light in the shape of a star attached in the middle is also charming.
Looking up at the ceiling from the bed, a part of the tent is transparent, revealing the night sky! You can enjoy a unique experience of gazing at the starry sky even while indoors. The transparent window can also be covered when the sunlight is strong, making it convenient to adjust according to the situation.
In addition, there is a low table inside, so you can have conversations with your family after dinner or spend time playing games together. The tent also has a covered dining space, where you can enjoy a meal with your family in a private setting.
Guests staying in the Lotus area can enjoy a barbecue for dinner. The popular barbecue menu, supervised by the chef of Mobility Resort Motegi Hotel, includes T-bone steak, bone-in sausages, cheese fondue, and more! Preparation, as well as starting and cleaning up the fire, can all be left to the staff, so even beginners can enjoy the outdoors with peace of mind.
After dinner, you'll want to relax with your family. In such cases, we recommend the newly installed concerlink, a bonfire pit in this area.
The fire pit is equipped with hammocks and comfortable chairs, so you can gather around the fire with your family and enjoy the evening. In the Lotus Tent Area, the cute shape of the tents is emphasized by the lights at night, allowing you to experience a more extraordinary space.
I was able to visit the Lotus Tent Area early and enjoy the best relaxing time while feeling the nature of Mobility Resort Motegi in a short time. I want to stay in this new glamping area as soon as possible!
The number of rooms in the Lotus Tent Wide is 3 sites, and it can accommodate 2 to 6 people. There is a dedicated parking space next to the tent, and in the wide type, you can park two cars, so you can enjoy it with your family or a large group of friends.

In the Lotus Tent Area
There is also a place like this!
In addition to the Lotus Tent Wide and the fire pit introduced earlier, there is also a cooking facility in this new area. This cooking facility has a spacious area where you can wash your hands, wash vegetables you bought, and even let your children help out while using it in various ways.
Next to the kitchen building, there is a cute powder room with a light blue wall, so you can feel at ease.
This time, we introduced the Lotus Tent Wide in detail, but there are 10 sites for the regular Lotus Tent, and it can accommodate 2 to 4 people.
There are also 4 beds, so even if the whole family uses it, you can relax enough even with the regular type.
There is a parking space for one car, so you can visit by car with peace of mind. The price is 58,200 yen for 2 adults and 2 elementary school children, including dinner and breakfast.
