We visited the newly grand-opened "Lota Tent Area" at Mobility Resort Motegi early on!
At Mobility Resort Motegi, a new glamping area called the
"Lota Tent Area" opened on July 1, 2021.
This time, we will provide a detailed look at what the newly created area is like.
Just like an onion?!
What’s the new glamping tent like?
At Mobility Resort Motegi in Motegi, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, there is the Forest and Starry Sky Camping Village where you can enjoy glamping and camping.
In this area, a new glamping facility called the "Lota Tent Area" has been created. The concept is "providing the best forest time where everyone can relax." We went for an early tour inside this new glamping facility!
As soon as we stepped into the new area, a row of large round tents came into view. Their shape, just like onions, already had us excited just by looking at them!
Each tent is spaced more than 7 meters apart from the next, ensuring a well-defined private space exclusively for guests, which is another attractive feature. In this area, there are two types: the "PUTO Tent" and the "PUTO Tent Wide" (as of the time of the coverage), and this time, we visited the PUTO Tent Wide.
As soon as you enter the tent interior, the first thing you notice are the four large beds lined up! It’s great for each family member to have their own bed. Even if parents and children sleep close together, the size is more than sufficient.
The star-shaped light installed in the center is also very charming.
Removing the ceiling canopy and looking up, you will see that part of the tent has a translucent vinyl window that brightly illuminates the interior. The canopy can be covered when the sunlight is strong, making it convenient to adjust its use depending on the situation.
Additionally, the interior is equipped with a low table, allowing you to enjoy conversations with your family after dinner or in the morning, play games together, and spend enjoyable time around the table. This tent also features a roofed dining space where the whole family can enjoy meals together in a private setting.
I had the opportunity to visit the Lota Tent Area early on, and although it was a short time, I was able to experience the best relaxing moments while feeling the nature of Mobility Resort Motegi. I can’t wait to stay at this new glamping area!
There are 2 wide Lota Tent sites available, accommodating from 2 to 6 guests. Each tent has a dedicated parking space next to it, and the wide type can park two cars, so it seems perfect not only for families but also for large groups of friends to enjoy together.

In the Lotus Tent area
There is also a place like this!
This new area has a kitchen building. The kitchen building provides a sufficiently spacious area, so you can wash your hands, wash the vegetables you bought, have your children help out, and use it in various ways.
Next to the kitchen building, there is a cute powder room with a light blue wall, so you can feel at ease.
This time, we introduced the Lotus Tent Wide in detail, but there are 10 regular Lotus Tent sites available, accommodating 2 to 4 people.
These also come with four beds, so even the regular type offers plenty of comfort for the whole family.
With one parking space included, you can feel at ease visiting by car.
The new area lined with charmingly shaped tents offers spacious interiors, promising a relaxing and leisurely time.
