ABOUT Honda Eco Mileage Challenge

"Honda Eco Mileage Challenge" competes not in speed, but in the fuel efficiency performance of the machine.

Based on a Honda 4-stroke engine,
how many kilometers can be driven on 1 liter of fuel?
It is a place of study that challenges infinite possibilities and competes with original ideas and technologies.

Drivers must be 15 years old or older.
Working together as a team of five members from school or workplace (six members for the two-seater class) to challenge their dreams—this is also part of the charm and the secret to the popularity of the Honda Eco Mileage Challenge.
Enjoying the unique machines that pursue fuel efficiency performance to the limit and the enthusiasm of the entrants,
this is a futuristic event that encourages thinking about motorsports and the environment.

    This competition will be held in accordance with the Honda Eco Mileage Challenge National Tournament Regulations, and participants will use competition vehicles produced in accordance with these rules to run the designated course within the specified time and measure their fuel efficiency. Rankings will be determined from the team with the lowest fuel consumption.

CLASS Group Category

  • What is the CN Class

    This is a class that uses carbon-neutral fuel.

  • CN Group I (Junior High School Class)

    This is a class for those enrolled in junior high school.
    The team manager should be a teacher, and the team members, including the drivers, must be students enrolled in the same school.

  • CN Group II (High School Class)

    This is a class for those enrolled in high school.
    The team manager should be a teacher, and the team members, including the drivers, must be students enrolled in the same school.

  • CN Group III (University, Junior College, Technical College,
    and Specialized School Student Class)

    This class is for those enrolled in universities, junior colleges, technical colleges, or specialized schools.
    The team manager shall be a faculty member or a student aged 18 or older, and team members, including drivers, must be students enrolled in the same school.

  • CN Group IV (General Class)

    This is a class for general participants.
    You can participate with family, friends, or colleagues from work.

  • CN Two-Wheel Vehicle Class

    This is a class for participation with commercially available two-wheel vehicles equipped with Honda engines under 150cc.

  • CN Two-Person Riding Class

    This is a class where two people can ride using vehicles with two separate seats.
