1day GET MFJ License

'1day GET MFJ License' is a program that allows you to obtain both the 'Circuit License' and the 'MFJ Road Race Domestic License' in one day.

The MFJ Road Race Domestic License Seminar and MCoM Member (Circuit License) Practical Training will be held simultaneously.
Normally, in order to obtain a domestic license, you must visit the circuit several times to apply for achievements, which takes a lot of time. However, if you pass both the written and practical exams in this program, Mobility Resort Motegi will handle the application process for the "MFJ Road Race Domestic License" and support you until you obtain it. MCoM members can obtain the "MFJ Road Race Domestic License" in the shortest possible time.

Please check the equipment (※1) and specifications of the participating vehicles in advance as actual driving is involved.
※1: Those under 18 years old and over 55 years old are required to have 2-wheel airbag protection.

Daily Schedule

Morning
We will conduct classroom lectures focusing on rules and manners.
  1. Registration
    Please come to the reception venue with the necessary documents.
  2. Opening Ceremony
    We will explain the schedule for the day
  3. MFJ Domestic Competition Rules Seminar
    Attend lectures required for obtaining MFJ license
  4. Written Exam
    Test what you learned in the classroom lecture (pass/fail announcement after completion)　
  5. Lunch
    We offer boxed lunches and drinks.
Afternoon
We will focus on practical driving. We will put into practice what we learned in the morning session during the practical driving.
  1. Pre-ride briefing
    We will conduct a briefing to confirm riding posture, riding rules, etc.
  2. Practical Driving
    Practical driving will be conducted on the Racing Course (Full Course)
    Lead Driving → Lead Driving Exchange → Free Driving (20 minutes) × 3 sessions
  3. Announcement of Results and Closing Ceremony

    Program Day

    Prepare your equipment and vehicle, and head to Mobility Resort Motegi. You can enter from 5am.
    *The expiration date for MCoM members is 1 year from joining.
    *At the time of registration, we will confirm your desire to obtain an MFJ supplementary license and your current license acquisition status, and settle the participation fee and application fee from the registered credit card.

    A license will be sent to the registered address from MFJ.
    ※The expiration date of the MFJ license is the end of March of the following year.

  • Small-sized limited regular two-wheeled license holders
  • Minors will need a consent form from their legal guardian and a seal certificate.

MFJ License

'Pit Crew B' can be obtained through this program for an additional fee of 1,500yen.
*Pit Crew B is a license required for registering as a pit crew for MFJ certified races.

Motegi Enjoy A-License

"Motegi Enjoy A-License" is a program that allows customers who are about to participate in motorsports competitions to obtain the JAF Domestic A License in just one day.

This program completes the five required conditions for obtaining the Domestic A License in just one day.
By passing the written exam and the driving practical test, you will meet the requirements to obtain the 'Domestic A License'.
*The application for the 'Domestic A License' must be submitted by the customer themselves via the internet.

Price

The participation fee for Motegi Enjoy A-License varies depending on the conditions of the participants.
The fee includes "recorded sports driving on certified circuits", "JAF domestic A-license training", "JAF Motorsports Yearbook and other teaching materials", etc.

Membership for JAF Individual Members

License Acquisition Conditions

You can obtain a domestic A license by taking and passing the domestic A license training course and exam.
You must meet one of the following conditions within 24 months prior to taking the training course.

(1) For those who have a valid domestic B license:
  • a) Participate in rallies, gymkhanas, dirt trials, circuit trials, etc. at least once and complete them.
  • b) Must have at least 25 minutes of experience in sports driving at a certified circuit and be able to receive proof from the certified circuit.
(2)For those who do not have a domestic B license:
・Must have at least 50 minutes of experience in sports driving at each certified circuit and be able to receive proof from the certified circuit.

The curriculum for the training course consists of lectures and written exams on various regulations, as well as practical driving tests.

Note-taking exams are allowed to bring rule books. For those taking the driving practical exam, it is not about technique, but about understanding track manners and flag signals during circuit driving.
*We have two exclusive sports driving slots (25 minutes each) for participants of the morning training session.

Other Information

  • If you fail, you will not be able to obtain a license. Also, please note that the course fee will not be refunded, so thank you for your understanding in advance.
  • If you have more than 50 minutes of driving experience at a JAF certified circuit other than Mobility Resort Motegi, please bring your driving record certificate for that circuit on the day of your visit.

※On the day, the time for sports driving reservation for obtaining a license will be set. If you have a driving record, there is no need to drive. However, if you want to drive, an additional 5,500yen/25 minutes will be required per drive.
※Lunch is not included in the tuition fee. (Please use the on-site restaurant for lunch)

Certified Referee
(Official License) Application

This is the license required when serving as an official (such as a referee or vehicle inspector) at a competition.
First, obtain a B3 license and then apply for a new 3rd class license to assist as a certified referee at certified competitions (including closed competitions).
Gain experience and step up by taking advanced exams.
The license is divided into the following types.

The permit fee is 3,100yen (tax included) per application, and an additional 500yen (tax included) will be charged for each additional application if you wish to obtain two or more types.
